About Me
While I would say that my recognition of my path within the healing arts began as early as age five, my official entry point began in 2010 as a practitioner and later as a teacher of meditation and Reiki. A long and yet intuitively-guided path eventually led me to somatics. After nearly a year of fairly intensive in-person and remote training with Strozzi Institute, I began my journey as a somatic coach to help others deepen their understanding of their bodies’ innate intelligence so they can live and work in a way that feels aligned with what they care about.
Part of what led me to somatics was my curiosity around stepping out of many years of living in my head (read: a lifetime), being a natural introvert who practiced styles of meditation that mostly nurtured this tendency. Over time, I set out to explore more of my “selves”-- like my “feeling self.” Working for more than a decade in the human rights sector (philanthropy and NGO work), also made me curious to learn more about how somatics could impact an individual or collective’s ability to realize positive social change.
Now, I’m proud to walk alongside others who are willing to shift what they are practicing in life in service of who they want to become. Change is never easy, but somatic practice shows us that it is possible.
